Code of Conduct
In July 2017, the Executive Board of the TU Berlin decided on a "Code of Conduct" as the basis for so-called “industry-sponsored doctorates”. The "Code of Conduct" emphasizes the importance of a free choice of topics, participation in the scientific discussion, and the publicity of the research results.
Professional courses and language courses
As part of the Promos program supported by the "Deutsche Akademische Austauschdienst (DAAD)" the TU Berlin offers four to five part time scholarships in 2017. The scholarships are available for TU students who intend to visit professional courses and language courses abroad. Professional courses must include a teaching component and can be supported from a minimum of 5 days to a maximum of 6 weeks. Language courses at state universities abroad from 3 weeks to 6 months are eligible for support. In both cases the financial support may include travel expenses supported by a lump sum of 400 Euro as well as a lump sum of 500 EUR for course fees.
Applications may be handed in at TU-DOC Office at any time.
